Next Generation of Tae Bo- Tae Bo Amped (0)
Posted 18 August, 2009 in Exercise apparel
To lose weight I have tried a lot of exercises. Well, I can say that I am one of the many people who would like to spend their free time moving and sweating. I kept finding the best and fun way for me to exercise and tone my body. Then a friend introduced Tae Bo. We first did it together at their home. She let me borrow the dvds for awhile until I got so engrossed and decided to buy my own package.
Tae bo was created by Billy Blanks back in 1990’s. It aims to burn a lot of fat while toning muscles. It is a combination of karate and boxing thus it involves a lot of punches, kicks and other combination moves. He uses high intensity moves, which will really make you sweat, then following it by a slower moves to let you keep up with your breathing making it a very effective cardiovascular workout.
Now, tae bo has become even better as Billy introduces the new innovation of the tae bo routing which he called Tae Bo. It includes a three pound bar called amplifier. The new generation of tae bo also includes some high-powered, high-energy, exhilarating workouts will help you attain a toned and sculpted body, strengthen your core, burn fat and increase your overall fitness level for a total body workout.
The package has five dvds. The shortest one is called Core Express and focuses on moves to tone the abs and butt. I loved this one. The moves were effective and I felt it was a quick, but intense workout. One dvd is a taped class in his Los Angeles studio. The other three tapes are just varying lengths and intensity of the signature Tae Bo moves some with the sculpting bar. He starts each with a warm up and ends with a cool down. All dvds are less than an hour so they are easy to fit into your day.
Billy Blanks does a good job of demonstrating the moves and is easy to follow in Tae Bo Amped. There is a fair amount of repetition, which gives a beginner the chance to learn the moves to make them most effective. Billy Blanks is motivational without being annoying.
